David’s Sons

² Sons were born to David at Hebron. His firstborn was Amnon, who was born to Ahinoam from Jezre’el. ³ His second was Kileab, who was born to Abigail, the widow of Nabal from Carmel. The third was Absalom, who was the son of Ma’akah, the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur. ⁴ The fourth was Adonijah, the son of Haggith. The fifth was Shephatiah, the son of Abital.
